It is understood and agreed that:

1. Pedigree, genetic clearance, and brucellosis reports will be provided to the stud dog’s owner before or at the time of breeding.
2. The stud fee is $_______.  Half of which, ($______) is due in full upon the completion of the breeding.  Balance due if more than 2 live puppies are born. 
   1. If less than 3 puppies are born, one return service will be granted within one year of the initial stud service to the same bitch or another bitch with the same ownership of the original bitch.  Every effort will be made to provide any return service due by the original stud dog; however, should the original stud dog be unable to fulfill the return service due to scheduling, health or other reasons, stud service will be fulfilled using another stud dog owned by Alan Gunther.
   2. AKC litter registration application will be signed by the stud dog’s owner upon receipt of balance paid in full, all clearances from the bitch’s owner and after the whelping.
3. The owner(s) of the bitch agrees that NONE of the puppies produced from this stud service shall be sold through a pet shop or agent or out of the USA or Canada without prior specific written approval from the stud dog owner(s).
4. The owner(s) of the bitch agrees to use either limited registration papers, a spay/neuter contract or non-breeding contract when selling puppies as pets and/or to noncompetitive homes.
5. Every effort will be made to provide for the safe care and confinement of this bitch by agent or stud dog owner(s) but in no way is the stud dog’s owner(s) responsible for her injury or loss.
6. Any and all transportation, medical, and boarding fees are the responsibility of the bitch’s owner(s).
7. If the bitch’s owner(s) fails to fulfill the conditions of this contract, the bitch’s owner(s) will be responsible for reasonable attorney’s fees if action is taken by the stud dog owner on behalf of the bitch that was bred and/or puppies produced from this breeding.
