Shadalane is simply amazing. We came here in search of a service dog to work with my son. They took the time to carefully pair him with a dog with the right temperament and skill set. Every time we visited, Shadalane treated us like family. Everyone we worked with was wonderful -- from the trainers to the owners. When it was time to come home, the head trainer Shelly brought our sweet dog to our house a few hundred miles away to make sure it was a smooth transition. I could not imagine a better place to find a furry friend. By the way, the dog is stunning -- looks like a show dog, works hard at school, and acts like a stuffed animal at home. Earlier this year, a devoted dog owner lost their beloved golden retriever, who had been bred, raised, and trained at Shadalane’s Puppy Training Academy in 2011. More than just physically beautiful and impeccably trained, the dog was intelligent, healthy, and had a remarkable personality. He accompanied his owner to work every day and became the unofficial therapy dog in a high-stress department at a large corporation. He made a lasting impact on countless people—many of whom were inspired to get golden retrievers of their own after knowing him. When he passed away, his many workplace friends mourned his loss with heartfelt emotion.
When it came time to find a new companion, there was never a question of going anywhere other than Shadalane. From the moment Alan and our team learned the news, we went above and beyond to find not just a great dog, but the right dog for this particular owner. Kelli had a wonderful experience bringing home her sweet pup, Sven. From the start, Shelley was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, guiding Kelli through the process of finding the right dog.
